Civil Design Engineer – Site Development (Remote)

Location: Fully Remote or Hybrid – (Greenville, SC)
Pay: up to ~ $60/hr DOE
Contract (W2) through 7/14/2026 (Extension Likely)

Play a key role in shaping infrastructure that powers industrial innovation. We're seeking a skilled Civil Engineer (or experienced senior-level Civil Designer) to support the planning and execution of complex industrial site development projects across the U.S. You'll be joining a high-performing, collaborative team working with one of the most respected engineering firms in the industry.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

• Full-spectrum civil site design for medium to large-scale industrial developments
• Site layout, master planning, and underground utility routing
• Stormwater and wastewater system analysis using tools like StormCAD, CivilStorm, etc.
• Final grading, cut/fill analysis, and earthwork balancing
• Creating erosion control plans and stormwater pollution prevention plans (SWPPPs)
• Interpreting and applying local AHJ requirements for site permitting and compliance
• Collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams and supporting active construction sites

We're Looking For:

• ~ 5–10 years of civil/site development experience in industrial or EPC/A&E environments
• Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D (all design modules required)
• Familiarity with Navisworks and Bluebeam
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Strong analytical mindset and ability to work independently or within project teams
• Quick learner with a desire to grow technically

Degree not required. Senior-level civil designers with equivalent experience are encouraged to apply.

Position Details

• Pay Rate: up to ~ $60/hr (W2 - offering Medical Benefits & 401k with Co. Match)
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM ET
• Remote/Hybrid: 100% Remote or optional hybrid from Greenville, SC
• Duration: Through July 2026 with likely extensions
• Travel: Minimal – occasional site walks during active construction phases
• Dress Code: Business Casual
• Background Check: Required post-offer
• Drug Test: Not required
