Mechanical Design Engineer / Robotics Engineer

Akkodis is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer / Robotics Engineer for a contract job with a client in Fremont, CA . Responsibilities include developing and manufacturing an autonomous delivery robot platform and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient production and quality control.

Rate Range : $45 / hour to $48 / hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Mechanical Design Engineer / Robotics Engineer job responsibilities include :

• Develop and manufacture an autonomous delivery robot platform.
• Collaborate with Hardware Engineering and Technician teams to prepare for product launch.
• Manage day-to-day production and respond to quality issues on the frontline.
• Ensure component traceability for product shipments and maintain production documentation.
• Interface with Design-Responsible Engineers (DREs) to bring products to reality.
• Scale and sustain the manufacturing of next-generation delivery robots.
• Set up and manage quality control processes to ensure product consistency and reliability.

Pay Details : $45.00 to $48.00 per hour
