The nurse will manage patient recovery from anesthesia. The role requires proficiency in telemetry and ventilator management. The nurse will demonstrate knowledge of various skill sets including conscious sedation and dysrhythmia recognition. Responsibilities include monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and ensuring patient comfort. The nurse will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for optimal patient outcomes. A flexible schedule is necessary, with weekend shifts as part of the rotation. Strong communication skills and the ability to work under pressure are essential.
