Quality Testing Engineer II

New Bern, NC / Full-time

Your responsibilities

The Quality Testing Engineer I is responsible to support the validation and verification of home appliances produced within the North American region. He / She will develop and execute test procedures for both hardware and software throughout the product's development and production lifecycles.

• Definition of the local testing strategy for hardware / software for development projects and throughout the lifecycle
• Design and implementation of the validation concept within the factory based on the global validation concept
• Coordination / definition of the test concept with DE within the projects for life cycle tests and software tests based on the relevant requirements
• Coordination of topics with the global departments (working groups, specialist circle)
• Development and implementation of the required infrastructure
• Test coordination and monitoring of ongoing tests
• Evaluation / analysis of test results and alignment with DE
• Support the release of appliances for the sales in the market North America, new models and variants from a Quality perspective utilizing the PDM / release plan system
• Perform all other duties as assigned

The pay range posted for this position is based on the location noted in the posting title. Exact compensation offered may vary based on your specific skillset and work location. If the position is bonus or incentive eligible then the payments range from 0% to 200% of target with details laid out within the plan document.
