To oversee and coordinate all phases of residential HVAC installation or replacement projects ensuring theyre completed on time, within budget, safely, and with high customer satisfaction.

- Coordinate with sales, design, and installation teams
- Plan equipment delivery and material logistics
- Team Coordination
- Supervise installers, technicians, and subcontractors
- Assign daily / weekly tasks
- Ensure compliance with safety and building codes
- Conduct job site meetings and inspections
- Budget & Cost Control
- Prepare and manage project budgets
- Track labor, materials, and subcontractor costs
- Approve purchase orders and invoices
- Report variances or cost overruns
- Quality & Compliance
- Ensure HVAC systems meet manufacturer specs and local codes
- Oversee testing, start-up, and final inspections
- Manage warranty documentation and quality control checklists
- Customer Relations
- Serve as the primary point of contact for homeowners
- Communicate timelines, expectations, and updates
- Handle change orders and service follow-ups
- Administrative & Reporting
- Maintain detailed project documentation
- Update CRM or project management software
- Provide progress and performance reports to management
🧩 Key Skills & Competencies
HVAC systems knowledge (residential split systems, heat pumps, ductless mini-splits, etc.)
Project management and scheduling (using tools like Buildertrend, Jobber, or ServiceTitan)
Understanding of building codes and permits
Strong leadership and communication skills
Time management and problem-solving ability
Customer service orientation
🧠 Qualifications
Education : High school diploma or associate degree; bachelors degree in construction management, mechanical engineering, or business is a plus
Experience : 35 years in residential HVAC installation, estimating, or project management
Certifications (preferred) :
EPA Section 608
NATE certification
OSHA 10 / 30
PMP or equivalent project management training
