Administrative Services Manager

Reporting to the Senior Associate Director of Operations, the Administrative Services Manager for the Student Health Center (SHC) is a key member of the central office staff, serves as the Human Resource Originator and Student Employment Partner, and provides high-level administrative support for the Student Health Center.

General responsibilities for this position include :

  • Coordinates all searches for the hiring of new employees in the Student Health Center from start to completion
  • Works with the divisional Human Resource Analyst to manage all human resources processes for the department
  • Provides administrative support for the Executive Director, Senior Associate Director, and the leadership functions of all units
  • Supports all quality improvement functions

    Responsibilities :

  • Administrative - 45%
  • Human Resources - 40%
  • Quality Control - 10%
  • Other Duties as Assigned - 5%
  • Minimum qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Three years of experience directly related to human resources, facility management and / or administrative support services.
  • LSU values skills, experience, and expertise. Candidates who have relevant experience in key job responsibilities are encouraged to apply a degree is not required as long as the candidate meets the required years of experience specified in the job description.
  • Desired qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Five years of experience directly related to human resources, facility management and / or administrative support services.
  • Experience with LSU systems and processes.
  • Experience in the college student services area.
  • Additional requirements / expectations :

    Due to the nature of the position and / or position responsibilities, this position shall be subject to drug / alcohol testing in accordance with University Policy Statement 67.

    In accordance with University Policy Statement 18, this position is considered essential and may be required to report or stay on campus in the event of an emergency or closure.

    May be required to work occasional nights and weekends.
