Senior Physical Therapist - North Liberty Outpatient

The Department of Rehabilitation Therapies at the University of Iowa Health Care North Liberty Campus is looking for a Senior Outpatient Physical Therapist to evaluate and treat patients with complex physical dysfunctions, disorders and / or injuries. This position will be assigned to the Outpatient Orthopedics Clinic Setting.

• Provide quality patient care, evaluation, assessment and treatment appropriate for patients with complex or specialized needs. Assignment will involve primarily adults in an outpatient setting.
• Participate in the development of innovative clinical teaching activities to meet the learning needs of staff and students.
• Perform routine and assigned administrative tasks in an efficient manner and demonstrate innovative problem-solving approaches.
• Provides divisional and departmental leadership by :

Collaborating on special projects and assisting management as necessary.

Ability to utilize existing resources and learning to achieve or exceed desired outcomes of current and future organizational goals / needs. Able to demonstrate ethical behavior in a variety of situations while producing results.

Ability to meet or exceed customer service needs and expectations and provide excellent service in a direct or indirect manner. Ability to effectively transmit and interpret information through appropriate communication with internal and external customers.

The new University of Iowa Health Care North Liberty Campus opened in the Spring of 2025. This 469,000 square foot facility is home to UI Health Care's nationally recognized Orthopedics service line, offering comprehensive, coordinated, and accessible care across the outpatient, inpatient and surgical venues. These state-of-the-art clinical facilities will include a full-service community imaging center, laboratory services, physical therapy, occupational therapy, retail pharmacy, and emergency department as well as an array of support services.
