Common Diagnosis / Treatment : GI bleed, Gastric Ulcers, Lung Cancer, Pancreatitis Number of Beds : 21 to 30 Nurse to Patient Ratio : 1 : 2 Charting : Cerner Scrub Color : Blue Areas of Float Support : Prep and Pacu Special Procedures : ERCP, Colonoscopy, EGD, Bronchoscopies, GI bleed, Food Bolus This unit performs all 3 points of care for our patients, pre op, procedure & post op Medications / stable drips are used on the unit : Antiarrhythmics; Amiodarone; Beta Blockers; Cardizem; Hydralazine; Insulin; Ketamine; Lasix Medications titrated on the unit : Amiodarone; Levophed; Propofol; Antiarrhythmics; Dobutamine Select All Applicable Line Management / Equipment : Port-A-Cath / Vascula Device Access / Care; Triple Lumen Catheter; Drains; PICC / Central Lines Select All Applicable Cardiac / Circulatory : Blood / Blood Products Administration; Rapid Transfusions Airway / Respiratory by indicating types of treatment or care / support provided to patients within the unit : Breathing Treatments; Chest Tube Set-up / Care; CPAP / BiPap; Procedure Sedation; Trach Care; Vents
