We are currently seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Operating Room on a PRN basis to assist in delivering exceptional patient care.

Be available for on-call responsibilities during select non-business hours.

Key Responsibilities :

Evaluate patients prior to surgery and educate them about the procedure.

Prepare patients for surgery, including IV therapy and preoperative medications.

Conduct surgical site verifications and adhere to safety protocols.

Respond effectively to patient emergencies, ensuring high-quality care.

Work within a dynamic interdisciplinary team to deliver optimal care.

Apply critical thinking and nursing skills to ensure patient safety and well-being.

Monitor patient conditions and document any changes accurately.

Provide education to patients and families about medical conditions and follow-up care.

Qualifications Needed :

Graduate from an accredited nursing program (diploma, associate’s, or bachelor’s).

At least six months of clinical experience as a Registered Nurse.

Current RN License in Texas or Multi-State Compact License (Texas RN License required within 60 days of hire for Compact License holders).

Basic Cardiac Life Support certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment.
