Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education, Special Education, or Visual Impairments, active Teacher of the Visually Impaired certification and 1+ years Teacher of the Visually Impaired experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This full-time teaching position in the San Jacinto area offers an opportunity to work with K-12 students specializing in visual impairments. The role focuses on delivering individualized instruction to students with visual challenges, providing support to enhance their academic success, and collaborating with educational teams to tailor learning strategies.

Key Responsibilities :

• Deliver specialized instruction to visually impaired students utilizing tailored educational materials and methods.
• Teach and implement Braille skills as applicable to student needs.
• Develop individual education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.
• Monitor student progress and adjust instructional approaches accordingly.
• Provide training and support to staff and families regarding best practices for educating visually impaired learners.
• Maintain accurate documentation and ply with all applicable regulations and policies.
