🩺 Position Overview

Role : CRNA – Locum Tenens

Location : New Hampton, IA

Schedule : Ongoing, sporadic PRN coverage for PTO relief

Hours : Guaranteed 8-hour days (schedule may vary)

Call : ❌ No call required

Trauma Level : IV

EMR : Epic (training provided and compensated)

🔬 Case Mix

👁️ Primary Focus : Cataracts (11–15 cases / day)

🦴 Other procedures include colonoscopies, EGDs, carpal tunnel, total hips and knees, scopes, and minor surgeries

⚕️ No pain management cases

🏥 Average surgical cases per day : 3–4 additional beyond cataracts

🤝 Collaborative team of experienced surgeons, RNs, and surgical techs in a 2-OR environment

✅ Requirements

🎓 NBCRNA Certification – Required

🩸 Active Iowa License – Required

💪 BLS, ACLS, and PALS (AHA) – Required

💉 COVID-19 Vaccination – Required

🚗 Local / within driving distance – Required

🕒 Minimum Experience : Fully trained, experienced CRNA — no new grads
