Focus on light gauge steel

Experience in the analysis and design of steel, light gauge steel, reinforced concrete, and masonry structures for static and dynamic loading from foundation to super structure

Experience in the use of finite elements on complex structures and use of application software in structural design

Extensive experience in the planning review, layout and details of contract drawings, specifications, shop drawings, field inspections and investigations; independent usage of resources in the application of code requirements and preparation of technical reports

Experience in the understanding of industry and regulatory practices and trends.

Job Responsibilities :

• The successful candidate will report to the President and be responsible for carrying out tasks that are delegated in a timely and professional manner.
• The Structural Design Engineer will be responsible for the origination and review of structural design work, which includes, but is not limited to design criteria, calculations, drawings, and specifications
• Engage in quality assurance, code compliance, permit identification and submittal, engineering studies, inspections, and structural investigations
• Review and implement surveys, borings and foundation design and analysis
• Coordinate work with other disciplines on technical resolution and project development, status, and delivery.
