Machine Operator / Converting Production Worker

Machine Operator – Las Vegas, NV

Sofidel America is currently seeking dedicated and detail-oriented Machine Operators to join our team at our Las Vegas, NV facility. This role is essential to supporting our production demands while maintaining a strong focus on safety, quality, and efficiency.

Our Machine Operators play a key role in ensuring that all products meet or exceed company standards for quality and performance, while strictly adhering to all safety protocols and operational procedures.

Key Responsibilities :

Operate machinery to produce high-quality paper products in accordance with production specifications.

Set up, monitor, and adjust machine settings, tolerances, and paper quality to ensure optimal performance.

Use hoists and pallet jacks to safely load large paper rolls into machine brackets.

Operate computer panels to input and monitor data related to roll diameters, lengths, perforations, and log saw operations.

Conduct quality checks throughout the production process to ensure product accuracy and compliance.

Monitor and maintain product specifications, making necessary adjustments to ensure consistent quality.

Operate and monitor packaging equipment as needed.

Ensure machines are maintained for optimal performance and minimal downtime.

Communicate relevant information during shift changes to ensure seamless transitions.

This role is based in a warehouse / manufacturing environment.

Temperatures can become extremely hot during the summer months , and employees are expected to work safely under these conditions with appropriate hydration and PPE provided.

Qualifications : Education :

High school diploma or GED required.

Experience :

Prior experience in machine operation or a manufacturing environment is preferred.

Schedule :

Must be available to work rotating shifts.

This position follows a rotating shift schedule :

Two weeks of night shifts : 7 : 00 PM – 7 : 00 AM

Two weeks of day shifts : 7 : 00 AM – 7 : 00 PM

Must be available to work weekends and holidays as schedule

Work Environment :

This role is based in a warehouse / manufacturing setting.

Temperatures can become very hot during the summer months.

Employees are expected to work safely in these conditions, with appropriate hydration and personal protective equipment (PPE) provided.
