Logistics Specialist / Ship Maintenance Support

As a Logistics Specialist, you will be joining an elite team of subject matter experts supporting Military Sealift Command's Ship Maintenance Support Program providing a full range of Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) services to ships operating worldwide.

What You'll Get To Do :

• Research, order, and track material identified by Principal Port Engineers as Government Furnished Material (GFM)
• Perform technical edit screening on all material or service order requests
• Research, submit, track, and validate requisitions and material required to support ship mission, repair, ashore allowances, and shipboard allowance requirements.
• Monitor and maintain the status of all material ordered for ship maintenance availabilities; participate in cradle to grave tracking processes to support ship maintenance scheduling.

Pay Range : There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.
