We are looking for dedicated Registered Nurses to be part of our dynamic Neurosurgical Unit. This role offers the opportunity to provide high-quality care to a diverse and complex patient population.

Shift : 3rd

Hours Per Week : 36

Pay Range : $37.50 - $56.25

Location : Aurora St Lukes Medical Center - 2900 W Oklahoma Ave Milwaukee, WI 53215

Unit Overview :

Join our 24-bed Neurosurgical Unit where you'll care for patients post-operative craniotomies, spinal surgeries, and those with stroke conditions as part of our Comprehensive Stroke Program. You'll gain exposure to innovative neurosurgical techniques at the Aurora Neuroscience Innovation Institute (ANII).

Your Responsibilities :

• Deliver and coordinate evidence-based patient care using the nursing process
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe, compassionate care
• Apply your clinical judgment and critical thinking to support optimal patient outcomes
• Enhance the patient experience across the care continuum

Qualifications :

• Registered Nurse license and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Completion of an accredited nursing program
• Typically requires 1 year of experience in clinical nursing
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively

Physical Requirements :

• Ability to sit, stand, walk, lift, and carry weights up to specified limits
• Must be able to use protective equipment as necessary
