Overview

Placement Type : Temporary

Salary : $40-50 Hourly

Start Date : Jan 5, 2026

Responsibilities :

  • Collaborate with the Content writing team and Program Managers to identify content to focus on based on priority needs.
  • Work with stakeholders who use the product to gather information and turn it into customer ready content.
  • Create new articles and update existing articles to reflect the latest features and functionality, in support of their needs. This includes assisting with content freshness efforts and SEO improvements.
  • Author the documentation and test / validate and configurations that will be published.
  • Respond to reviewer feedback and incorporate feedback as needed.
  • Deliver documentation according to specifications and priorities provided by team
  • Use content team tools, process, style guide and publishing guidelines to deliver high quality documentation. Tools GitHub, Markdown language, and Azure DevOps

Skills required :

  • 3-5 years of technical writing experience and / or experience creating technical, customer facing content, specifically IT pro and DevOps content
  • Experience writing Azure and / or Windows Server documentation and or Windows Server knowledge is a plus
  • Ability to be self-sufficient and ability to work independently.
  • Experience or familiarity with markdown and GitHub is preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Technical Communications, Journalism, English, Computer Science or related field preferred. Work related experience may substitute for degree.
