2905 Day Porter

Day porter keeps buildings in clean and orderly condition. Monitors and maintains cleanliness of restrooms, common areas, offices, and other spaces as required. May perform heavy cleaning duties, such as cleaning floors, shampooing rugs, washing walls and glass, and removing rubbish.

Reports to Account Manager or Daytime Supervisor.

Polices common areas for trash and tidiness.

Cleans entry-way glass, inside and outside surfaces.

Polices restrooms multiple times daily to pick up incidental trash.

Restocks restroom consumable items as necessary.

Sweeps, mops, scrubs, polishes floors and vacuums hallways, stairs, and office space.

Empties trash and garbage containers.

Clean furniture.

Notifies supervisor concerning need for repairs or additions to lighting, heating and ventilating equipment.

May shampoos and spot clean carpets.

Monitor and stock cleaning supplies and chemicals in specified areas.

May work alone, without direct supervision.

Education : High school degree preferred, but not required.

Experience : 1-year custodial experience preferred.

M-F 5-9pm

M-F 6am-2 : 30pm

M-F 7am-3 : 30pm
