Mechanical Drafter (Manchester)

Job Title : Mechanical Drafter Contract-to-Perm

Location : Manchester, NH

Shift : Standard Business Hours (Onsite)

Pay : Open $ Based on Experience & Availability

Were seeking a Mechanical Drafter to support engineering and documentation teams. This role starts as contract with the potential to convert to a permanent position based on performance and business needs. Youll be a key part of preparing, updating, and releasing engineering drawings within ECO workflow.

How You Will Make an Impact

Prepare engineering drawings for release into the ECO system

Create detailed, durable component drawings (mix of off-the-shelf & custom designs)

Develop drawings for components manufactured through :

Plastic Injection Molding

Die Casting

Metal Injection Molding

Apply standard notes and formatting to drawings

Work closely with engineering team members to manage drawing pre-approvals

Collaborate with Document Control to pull ECO numbers, enter parts into the ECO tool, and guide drawings through approval

Prioritize high-value parts and organize documentation efficiently

Skills You Need to Be Successful

Minimum 2 years of SolidWorks experience

Background in a medical device or documentation-intensive environment

Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Excellent time management and organizational skills

Receptive to feedback and able to revise work accordingly

Effective written and verbal communication across cross-functional teams
