[job_card.job_description]Work in Intermediate Intensive Care Unit (IICU) with 1 : 3 patient ratios Required minimum 2 years RN experience and at least 1 completed travel assignment Previous IICU / ICU experience with acuity of at least 1 : 3 required 6 weekend shifts required per 6-week schedule period Required certifications : ACLS, BLS, NIHSS Must have active South Carolina or multistate license 1 year of EPIC EMR experience required Care for adult patients including trauma, medical, surgical, and neurology cases requiring monitoring or interventions every 1-2 hours Unit receives direct admissions, ICU transfers, and escalations from Rapid Response Teams Must be proficient in cardiac monitoring and emergency response, including interpretation and management of dysrhythmias and telemetry monitoring Medication management skills must include titration of cardiac and vasoactive drips Ventilator experience required Must be comfortable with floating to other units or campuses as needed based on census concerns Pre-assignment testing and modules required within 48 hours of receiving login information Orientation occurs every Monday Special equipment includes Hercules patient re-positioners, ceiling lifts, and Airtaps Referral bonus
