Level One Trauma Center, 24/7 Operational hours, 13 Surgical Suites, 1 Cysto Suite, 1:1 Nurse Ratio, Multi-Specialty: Trauma Neuro Robotics Orthopedics General GYN Urology Plastics and Reconstruction. State of the Art equipment, In-house Anesthesia, Anesthesia Techs and Video Techs, Self-Scheduling. As our Open Heart Surgical Tech at CRMC, we highly value your experience in surgical procedures and sterilization. To be successful in this role, you should have 4 years of experience in a similar role, and be a graduate in surgical technology from an accredited school, and a strong understanding of sterilization techniques. You'll be instrumental in preparing the operating room for a variety of surgeries. We recognize that we can't operate without you.

The operating room (OR) operates as a team, and every member plays a crucial role that directly impacts the patient's outcome. As a Surgical Tech, your adaptability and enthusiasm to work with the team are key to taking patients from a diseased process to a healing process. Your role is not just important; it's integral to our success. Your expertise in surgical procedures and sterilization directly contributes to the positive outcomes of our patients, making you a valued and indispensable part of our team.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare the operating room for assigned surgical procedures with proper instrumentation and sterilization

• Navigate the nuances of surgical procedures and surgeons you'll be supporting

• Adapt to the needs of emergencies

• Provide clean-up and turnover of the operating room to prepare for the next patient

Job Requirements

Minimum:

• High school diploma or GED

• Minimum of four (4) years clinical experience as a surgical technologist

• American Heart Association BLS

Preferred

• Graduate of accredited surgical technologist program and certified as a surgical technologist plus two years clinical experience

$32.38 - $48.17 /hour
