Medical Laboratory Scientist

Pride Health is hiring a Medical Laboratory Scientist to support our client's medical facility based in Indianapolis, IN 46214. This is a 3+months assignment with the possibility of a contract-to-hire opportunity, and it's a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!

Now Hiring: Medical Lab Scientist I – Indianapolis, IN 46214 (Part-Time, Onsite)

Location: Indianapolis, IN 46214

Start Date: 2-3 weeks

Schedule: 2nd shift Part-time position working 20 hours per week, HM said times can vary, but the candidate would need to be available from 6 PM to 2:30 AM

Pay Rate: $30-$36/HR

Join one of the most respected names in diagnostics! We're looking for a dedicated and skilled Medical Lab Scientist I to support Core Lab operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform testing across Chemistry, Hematology, Urinalysis, Coagulation
• Conduct QC, run instruments, and perform routine maintenance
• Work as a generalist with exposure to blood bank tasks
• Independently manage workload during night shift
• Maintain accuracy, quality, and compliance within laboratory standards

Requirements:

• BS in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, Biological, Chemical, or Physical Science OR qualifying CLIA alternative
• 1 year of relevant clinical laboratory experience (depending on education route)
• ASCP or AMT certification required
• Hematology and Immunology required
• Epic LIS experience preferred
• Color vision screening required
• MUST have manual slide reading experience
• Must meet all CLIA testing personnel requirements
• Ability to work independently on night shift
• Hep B, Flu (declination accepted), and standard medical screenings required
• Reliable transportation is a must.
