Key Responsibilities

• Advise clients on federal, state, and international tax implications of corporate transactions, restructurings, mergers and acquisitions, and investment structures
• Conduct tax research and prepare memoranda, opinions, and planning documents
• Assist in the representation of clients before the IRS and state taxing authorities
• Draft and review corporate, partnership, and cross-border tax provisions in transactional documents
• Collaborate directly with partners and clients to develop strategic, tax-efficient solutions for complex business matters
• Qualifications
• JD from an ABA-accredited law school
• Active Florida Bar membership in good standing
• 23 years of experience in federal, state, and / or international tax within a law firm environment
• Strong research, analytical, and drafting skills
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities
• LLM in Taxation preferred but not required
