Accounting Manager

The Accounting Manager will be responsible for training the accounting team and providing accounting support to the Director of Accounting. Key support member in monthly / quarterly / annual close activities. This position will provide support with : audits, monthly sales tax submissions, and will assist accounting personnel.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITES :

• Training and development of the Accounting Team
• Experience leading the month end close process
• Ability to work with auditors, answer questions and maintain supporting documentation
• Exceptional ability to reconcile general ledger activity and balances
• Strong understanding of debits and credits and their impact on financial statements
• Daily cash reporting / reconciliation
• Experience with sales / use tax
• Experience with amortization / depreciation desired but not required
• Budgeting experience including allocations between departments and companies desired
• Ability to identify and resolve accounting issues through analysis, investigation, and teamwork
• Financial Statement experience
• Assist with ensuring general ledger activities have proper internal controls and procedures
• Specialized training in specific accounting duties
• Perform other duties as assigned

Pay : $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
