The HR Coordinator plays an important role in the organization by performing duties related to supporting our employees and daily branch operations. All employees are expected to carry out the company's Purpose and Core Values - Employee Centered, Customer Focused, and Champions in the Communities we serve.
As the HR Coordinator you must be able to perform the following essential functions of the job :
- Under the direction of Human Resources, assist applicants, conduct new hire orientations and complete required employment paperwork.
- Assist the Branch Manager and Operations Managers to support the smooth operation of the branch. Create purchase orders, receive inventory, and assist in ordering materials.
- Maintain training records, schedule training where appropriate, and follow-up to ensure training completion.
- Actively participate, coordinate and assist in employee recognition programs and events.
- Coordinate events, meetings, and conferences with cross-functional departments; prepare agendas and set up meeting facilities as needed.
- Communicate with employees from diverse backgrounds in support of our core value of Employee Centered. Answer questions, provide direction to internal resources, and support the needs of branch personnel.
- Help ensure a positive customer experience by tracking and performing follow-up calls for all internal and external generated issues and service requests.
- Welcome visitors by greeting them, making sure they are comfortable, and directing them to the appropriate party.
- Answer incoming calls, and provide responsive and courteous service to callers by providing information or routing them to the appropriate party as needed.
- Maintain uniform and PPE inventory. Distribute to employees with appropriate tracking and documentation.
- Perform general clerical duties and office support, including data entry, scanning, emailing, photocopying, faxing, mail distribution, and filing.
- Collect, sort, and correctly distribute incoming mail and packages. Assist in the preparation and delivery of mailings as needed.
- Partner with IT helpdesk and assist in the troubleshooting of basic office technology issues.
- Follow all company policies and procedures, including proper handling of confidential and private information.
- Maintain office supplies inventory by checking stock, anticipating needed supplies, placing and expediting orders for supplies, and verifying receipt of supplies.
- Perform any other duties as assigned.

General knowledge of the landscape industry is preferred
WORK CONDITIONS
Employees in this position should expect working in a typical office environment including sitting or standing for long periods of time. Candidates will perform basic office functions such as typing, scanning, faxing, or staring at a screen, for extended periods of time.
