New Graduate Opportunity Project Engineer I Civil Engineering Land Development

Job Description

Timmons Group is currently hiring a Civil Project Engineer I to join our Land Development team in Charleston, SC . This role is ideal for early-career engineers passionate about designing and delivering solutions for commercial and residential projects. You’ll contribute to the design of site development projects including roadways, utilities, grading, and stormwater systems — all within a collaborative, growth-focused environment.

Essential duties and responsibilities of a successful candidate include but are not limited to :

• Assist in site design using AutoCAD Civil 3D and other modeling tools
• Perform engineering calculations and prepare technical specifications
• Support cost estimating, plan set development, and report writing
• Conduct field inspections and data collection
• Collaborate with internal teams and clients under guidance from senior engineers
