OBGYN opportunity in Bowling Green, KY 1 hour from Nashville TN Service area of over 100,000 people The City of Bowling Green is nationally recognized by the US Chamber of Commerce for its economic development performance for seventh consecutive year Position Details : - Full time, permanent opening- Clinic is a private medical group completely owned and managed by the shareholder (owners) physicians.- Practice is located in South Central Kentucky Bowling Green, KY- Seeking additional BE / BC OB / GYN due to growth- OB / GYN Group currently has 7 physicians doing deliveries; plus 3 physicians doing only GYN and 4 Nurse Practitioners- Office has state of the art equipment which will allow many options to practice. - Admit to a level 2.5 nursery with 11 LDRs and (NO LDRPs); has full time neonatologist and NPs (one hospital Med Center Health; second hospital in town does not do deliveries)- Hospital does 2,400 deliveries of which the group does over half. - Excellent payor mix with approximately 65% commercial insurance- Blend of OB vs GYN with the average number of surgeries per week of 7 per physician- C-section rate is 30% including repeat and primary- Nursery can keep babies 28 wks and above, others go out- Postpartum 34 beds- Reserved regarding abortion- Altera TouchWorks EMR is utilized- Ambulatory Surgery Center in Warren County now open Location - Bowling Green, KY- 1 hour to Nashville TN- Service area of over 100,000 people- With Bowling Green growing as it has over the past ten years (in the top three fastest growing communities in Kentucky), the opportunities to develop a thriving medical practice are certainly available.- The medical community has an excellent staff of physicians, a well trained ancillary support team, and modern hospitals and services to permit the development of a solid medical practice.
