[job_card.job_description]Assessment and Planning : Screen and evaluate clients to plan and administer appropriate therapeutic treatments using a biopsychosocial assessment. Therapy Services : Deliver individual, family, and group therapy using evidence-based, best-practice approaches (CBT, DBT, Motivational Interviewing, Trauma-Focused CBT). Documentation : Complete timely and accurate clinical documentation, including diagnostic assessments using DSM V and ASAM, consistent with agency standards and regulations. Treatment Planning : Collaborate with clients to create individualized treatment plans tailored to their specific needs and goals. Coordination of Care : Consult with external community providers concerning treatment plans and coordinate care as required. Progress Reports : Provide regular progress reports to courts, probation departments, families, and referral sources when applicable. Client Advocacy : Advocate for clients and their families within the treatment program and broader community. Supervision : May supervise interns / volunteers as needed. Professional Development : Complete annual training to enhance your skills and stay current with best practices. Additional Responsibilities : Perform other related tasks as assigned by the Lead Therapist. Mustpossess : Masters Degree in Human Services(Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family, or Addictions) Practicum, Internship, or post-graduate experience in behavioral health, preferably in substance use disorder treatment. Must be willing to obtain a LCAC-A and pursue LCAC. Must have or, within30 daysfrom hire, be able to obtain a current First Aid and CPR card. Proficiencyin evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including CBT, DBT, Motivational Interviewing, and Trauma-Focused CBT. Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to apply common sense and handle various challenges independently. Work Setting : Indoors, environmentally controlled; exposure to contagious diseases and potentially volatile situations. Body Positioning : Frequent sitting, standing, and repetitive motions; ability to lift up to 10 lbs regularly and up to 50 lbs occasionally. Communication : Regular contact through electronic mail, in-person discussions, public speaking, telephone, and video.
