OnScent is looking for a Shipping Clerk to support our manufacturing warehouse operations at our Norwood, New Jersey location. This position is responsible to ensure the accurate, timely, and efficient shipment of finished goods. The successful candidate will be hands-on, with a strong attention to detail, have good communication, and a commitment to safety and quality. The ideal candidate has experience in shipping and receiving within a manufacturing environment and takes pride in keeping orders moving on schedule and customers satisfied.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to :

• Coordinate and executes daily shipment schedules while adhering to standard guidelines for freight consolidation, including ship dates and directives from daily production meeting.
• Prioritize the daily work schedule to meet company and customer delivery requirements.
• Coordinate and prepare international shipments, this includes communication with carriers and preparation of documentation; air freight required dangerous goods documentation and sea freight required IMO shipping documentation.
• Support and provide backup for all shipping activities, includes operating forklift to ensure product is properly prepped for shipment.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure all necessary information is provided in order to ensure efficient shipping and receiving operations.
• Conduct operations in a way that adheres to all Safety Policies and procedures.
• Adhere to all standards within the warehouse (QC, Sanitation, OSHA and Inventory Control).
• Work with QC, Production, Customer Service, and Planning to achieve accurate and timely delivery commitments.
• Act as backup for Warehouse & Logistics Supervisor during absences, includes leading daily functions in shipping in order to maintain service levels.
• Track order status and order complaints, including paperwork requests, and conducting research on lost / damaged shipments.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
