Job Title : Assistant Food Scientist

Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic Assistant Food Scientist to join our research and development team. A successful candidate will be responsible for conducting experimental work and supporting the design of new blended products for food applications.

Responsibilities

• Carry out experimental work at the bench to support product development.
• Aid in designing innovative blended products for food applications.
• Develop new protein-based applications to enhance food products.
• Conduct lab experiments to support new product development and improve customer formulations.
• Assist in creating at least two new innovative product applications per year.
• Provide scientific data for webinars, technical documents, and marketing materials.
• Help design and test new products from concept through commercialization.
• Support customer needs by responding to technical requests and participating in pilot trials.
• Maintain lab equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
• Document findings in a lab notebook and present results to the team.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Elgin, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.77 - $30.77 / hr.
