Key Responsibilities :

• Implement physician orders, administer medications, start IVs, and perform various treatments and special tests while documenting as required by company policy and regulations.
• Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests to assess and understand patients' conditions.
• Assess patient needs and responses to the care provided.
• Employ sound nursing judgment in patient care management decisions.
• Provide primary and emergency care for both occupational and non-occupational injuries and illnesses.
• Administer over-the-counter and prescription medications as ordered.
• Collaborate with the nursing team to develop comprehensive Plans of Care for all patients.
• Guide ancillary personnel and uphold professional nursing standards.
• Maintain current NYS Registered Nurse license and certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
• Bring a minimum of 1-3 years of relevant clinical RN experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care.
• Demonstrate excellent communication, prioritization, organizational, and time-management skills.
• Exhibit knowledge of quality concepts and principles, effectively applying them to enhance departmental and patient care quality improvement.
