SUMMARY

The Lidar Specialist provides technical expertise in lidar data processing production QA / QC reporting metadata troubleshooting and solving complex issues.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITES could include :

• Leads development of Sanborn Avalanche Photon Counting Lidar (PCL) projects and methodologies.
• Designs processing blocks for PCL projects and programs.
• Manages data center resources and software for PCL processing.
• Perform PCL data processing and point cloud aggregation.
• Maintains designed PCL sample data library and other relevant datasets.
• Performs processing of lidar and lidar derivative products
• Performs QA / QC review of lidar and lidar derivative products.
• Coordinates work efforts of staff assigned to department production tasks.
• Act as a technical resource for clients.
• Trains and assists junior-level staff.
• Complex review of software for lidar processing and value-added services.
• Uses complete understanding of lidar principles and additional complex understanding of all geospatial and remote sensing disciplines to act as a technical expert.
• Follow Sanborns Quality Management System (QMS) to assure quality and provide ISO training to employees.
• Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION

EXPERIENCE :

Salary Range : $100000 - $125000 annual

Applicant must live in the U.S. and be authorized to work in the U.S.
