Job Description

A1 Placement is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible OB-GYN physician to join a dedicated Federally Qualified Healthcare (FQHC) team. Clinics are located in the Los Angeles Metro Area; South Central Los Angeles, South Gate, and Wilmington serving a diverse patient population with a focus on providing high-quality, compassionate care. The ideal candidate must have active hospital privileges and be licensed with the California Medical Board.

Education & Experience Requirements :

  • California Medical License (Required)
  • Medical Degree (MD or DO)
  • Completion of OB-GYN Residency Training
  • Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology
  • BLS and ACLS Certification
  • Must Have Hospital Privileges

Responsibilities :

  • Provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care, including prenatal, labor & delivery, and postpartum care.
  • Conduct routine gynecological exams, screenings, and preventative care.
  • Diagnose and treat a wide range of gynecologic conditions.
  • Perform gynecologic and obstetric procedures as needed.
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including ultrasounds and lab work.
  • Counsel patients on family planning, reproductive health, and wellness.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care.
  • Respond to emergency obstetric and gynecologic situations as needed.
  • Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with medical regulations and best practices.

    • Requirements :

  • Ability to commute / rotate between facilities, including mobile units.
  • Able to see a minimum of 20-22 patients.
  • Work Saturdays as needed.
  • Able to use EMR systems.

    • Job Types :

  • Full-time, Part-time

    • Weekly schedule :

  • Monday to Friday (8 : 30am-5 : 00pm)
  • Saturday (8 : 30am-2 : 00pm)

    • Work Location : In-person
