Senior Financial Analyst

A growing organization in the construction and field services industry is looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to take ownership of reporting systems, financial planning, and decision-support analytics that impact day-to-day operations across multiple business units.

This is not a back-office role. You’ll be front and center—partnering with leadership, optimizing systems, and helping teams make smarter decisions with data.

🔹Own Financial Planning & Analysis

• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis for a multi-location operation
• Monitor key performance metrics and cost drivers across branches
• Deliver data-driven insights that directly influence executive decisions

🔹Be the Power BI & CMS Champion

• Serve as the in-house expert for the company’s Construction Management System
• Manage and enhance Power BI dashboards used for performance visibility
• Ensure data accuracy and system adoption across operations

🔹Drive Training & Enablement

• Develop user-friendly training for new hires and branch teams
• Host monthly workshops to upskill teams and drive self-sufficiency
• Create materials that demystify complex tools and financial data

🔹Improve Processes, Add Value

• Streamline reporting and data flows
• Recommend automation and efficiency improvements
• Collaborate cross-functionally to support operational excellence

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (CPA, CFA, or Master’s a plus)
• 5+ years of experience in FP&A or strategic finance, preferably supporting field or multi-site operations
• Strong understanding of financial statements and forecasting techniques
• Advanced Excel and Power BI skills
• Experience working with business systems and collaborating with non-financial stakeholders
• Clear communicator who can present dashboards and insights to all levels
• Curious, analytical, and proactive with a strong attention to detail
• Exposure to the construction, energy, or service industries is a plus
• Bi-lingual in Spanish is a bonus
• Willingness to travel up to 50%
