COBOL Developer III

Qualifications :

Bachelors degree or equivalent in Computer Science Computer Engineering Computational Math Data Science or related field of study and 8 years of progressive experience in software development and programming.

Applicants must have demonstrated experience with :

• 1) Requirements gathering and analysis;
• 2) COBOL systems design and documentation including analysis reports code change descriptions code reviews and test results as part of the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC);
• 3) Development and testing of data flows applications and systems;
• 4) COBOL programming;
• 5) One of the following Database environments : IBM DB2 or HP Image;
• 6) Working on mainframe systems;
• 7) Agile development methodologies;
• 8) SDLC phases including deployment to and support of a live production system;
• 9) Scripting in one language ;

10) Creating and running unit and integration tests to ensure quality of new code and integration with other applications; and

11) Analyzing system codebase for understanding and impact.

Additional Information :

Salary for position : $212202 per year.

Work Hours : Monday Friday 8 : 00 am to 5 : 00 pm.

Candidates must be local or willing to relocate.
