LHH is currently recruiting a Senior Accountant with SAP S / 4HANA and payroll accounting experience for a contract assignment with one of our clients in Houston, TX. The ideal candidate will have strong accounting skills, month-end close, and SAP S / 4HANA systems experience.

Job Duties include :

• Perform month-end close functions including journal entry preparation and review of accruals.
• Prepare and analyze balance sheet account reconciliations and prepare bank reconciliations.
• Responsible for reconciling payroll and benefits related accounts, and preparing journal entries to record payroll and benefits in the general ledger.
• Perform monthly variance analysis and review of reconciling items.
• Assist with internal and external audits, including preparation of audit schedules.
