Job Summary :

Ingraham Manor a leading provider of high-quality care and rehabilitation services, is seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Staff Development Nurse to join our team in Bristol, CT. As a key member of our nursing staff, you will play a vital role in developing and implementing education programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of our nursing staff, promoting excellence in patient care and fostering a positive work environment.

Responsibilities :

Develop and implement comprehensive staff education programs, including orientation, in-service training, and continuing education

Identify training needs and gaps in staff knowledge and skills, and design programs to address these gaps

Collaborate with nursing staff, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement evidence-based practice guidelines

Evaluate program effectiveness and make recommendations for improvements

Provide mentorship and coaching to nursing staff to enhance their clinical skills and knowledge

Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes

Maintain accurate records of staff education and training

Stay current with industry developments and best practices in staff development and education

Requirements : RN
