Location : Fitchburg, MA 01420 - Targeting Massachusetts healthcare professionals seeking local nursing and physician assistant jobs
Setting : Interventional pain management clinic
Employment Type : Locum tenens (contract healthcare position)
Schedule : Monday (8am-5pm), Tuesday (9am-6pm), Wednesday (8am-5pm), Thursday (8am-5pm), Friday (7am-3pm)
Shifts per week : 5
Shift duration : 8-hour days
Contract Duration : 13 weeks, with potential for extension or permanent placement
Average patients per day : 25-30

Estimated Weekly Salary : $4120 - $4880 per week

Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant Job Requirements

Active Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license in Massachusetts

Minimum 1 year of clinical experience in pain management, orthopedics, or related specialty

Ability to work autonomously with physician support on-site

Strong charting and documentation skills

Excellent communication and patient care abilities

Healthcare Responsibilities

Conduct patient rounds and review previous visits in a clinical setting

Assess and manage patient medications and treatment plans for adult patients

Deliver high-quality healthcare to a diverse adult patient population

Collaborate with supervising physicians and clinical support staff

Complete charting and documentation throughout the day, including during no-show periods and lunch breaks

Maintain a positive and efficient workflow, ensuring timely patient care and accurate documentation
