ABOUT OUR AGENCY:
I have over 23 years of Insurance experience. I started with State Farm right out of college and worked for my uncle, a 45-year retired State Farm Agent. I am married and have two children and two dogs. I love helping and donating time to local charities such as Starfish Project, Shawnee 1929 Museum, Downtown Shawnee Board, and local schools such as Hocker Grove Middle School, Shawnee Mission High School, Shawanoe Elementary, the De Soto Days Board, and more.

Mitzi Ryburn - State Farm Agent is a leading insurance agency dedicated to providing exceptional service to our customers. We are currently seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a Receptionist - State Farm Agent Team Member.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Greet customers warmly in person and over the phone, directing them to the appropriate team members.
• Manage appointment scheduling and office communications.
• Assist in handling incoming inquiries and maintaining customer records.
• Engage in conversations with prospective and existing customers, identifying opportunities to offer insurance options.
• Provide excellent customer service and follow up on customers needs.
• Support the team with various administrative tasks and projects.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Previous experience in a receptionist or customer service role.
• Communication and interpersonal skills.
• Organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Comfortable with engaging in sales conversations.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
