Sr. Implementation Consultants at Klaviyo are a critical part of our Customers success, delivering the highest quality implementation experience by providing guidance, executing key launch tasks, demonstrating deep product expertise, and consistently exceeding customer expectations. A Sr. Implementation Consultant is a highly motivated professional with a proven record of proactively managing enterprise-level projects, implementing products for large and complex customer accounts, delivering on schedule, and yielding high customer satisfaction.
As a Sr. Implementation Consultant, youll lead the implementation phase for enterprise customers, engage early in the presales process, shape delivery strategy, craft and present Statements of Work (SOWs), and ensure engagements are scoped for success and aligned with customer outcomes. You will be the first point of contact with new Klaviyo customers, understanding their key marketing goals and the complexity of their enterprise tech stacks, building and owning the project plan, and leading the customer and internal teams to execute the plan. You will work with the full Klaviyo Account Team to drive customers forward, ensuring value is delivered quickly, stakeholders are informed, challenges identified early, mitigation strategies are implemented, and customers are set up for long-term success.
- Partner with Enterprise Sales early in the opportunity cycle to assess customer needs, shape services solutions, and ensure alignment between customer goals and Klaviyo delivery capabilities
- Define, craft, and present Statements of Work (SOWs) that clearly articulate scope, deliverables, timelines, dependencies, and success metrics for enterprise engagements
- Lead consultative conversations with prospects and customers to clarify business objectives, identify risks, and translate desired outcomes into actionable delivery plans
- Effectively implement new customers, leading them through migration, executing on customer use cases and milestones, and fast-tracking value for enterprise-level accounts
- Lead the implementation phase for new customers, including managing enterprise project scope, budget, plan, resources, and timeline
- Build strong stakeholder relationships and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to drive the project forward with visibility and accountability
- Lead and collaborate with senior leadership and multiple departments across cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery in enterprise environments
- Engage with and influence C-level stakeholders, ensuring alignment and driving forward complex projects with multiple dependencies
- Navigate and manage complex, cross-functional projects across global teams with an emphasis on large enterprise environments
- Apply expertise in risk management to identify, assess, and mitigate project risks for smooth delivery
- Adapt processes to provide a tailored experience for complex environments and meet customer needs while achieving milestones
- Understand each customers existing tech stack and provide best-practice recommendations for integration with Klaviyo
- Apply knowledge of API and Webhook functionality to help customers achieve key use cases on the Klaviyo platform
- Monitor implementation health across your book of business to ensure value delivery and set customers up for long-term success
- Collaborate with the full Account Team including Solutions Architects, Sales, Customer Success Managers, Deliverability Strategists, and Support to drive implementation and achieve customer goals
- Regularly update tools and systems with project status and risks without reminders
- Provide informal coaching and mentorship to other Implementation Consultants to support delivery excellence
- Supports team enablement and contributing to internal initiatives or process improvements
Who You Are
4+ years SaaS implementation experienceExperienced in defining and presenting Statements of Work and delivery proposals for complex enterprise implementationsAdept at balancing technical depth with commercial clarity to drive measurable customer value and delivery feasibilitySkilled in consultative selling and capable of articulating how Services accelerate time to valueProven expertise in managing large, enterprise-level projects with multiple stakeholdersProfessional with experience establishing trusted customer relationships across global teamsContinuous learner about the evolving martech landscape, with ability to position Klaviyo value propositions to complex customersExperienced with implementing Martech solutions leveraging best practices across Email, SMS, and CDP-based use casesExperience customizing implementation processes to meet enterprise-scale needsExcellent written and verbal communication, able to represent marketing needs across audiencesStrong project management skills with a track record of delivering in complex environmentsExperience with large-scale, integrated tech stacks in enterprise environments and working with systems like SFDCPMP certification strongly recommendedInterest in mentoring others and contributing to team-level executionEqual opportunity statement : Klaviyo is committed to equal opportunity and non-discrimination.
