2600- Loader Operator

Essential functions

Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these essential functions.

  • Operate front-end loaders to move materials throughout the yard
  • Load material onto trucks, trailers, etc. as needed
  • Ensure that all materials are properly segregated and prepared for sale to customers
  • Assist in maintain accurate inventory records and tracking the movement of materials
  • Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations regarding salvage yard operations
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment, including enforcing safety protocols and ensuring that all employees are adhering to environmental regulations
  • Perform other duties as assigned by mangement

  • Ability to work as a team and independently
  • Strong communication, interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to follow safety guidelines and regulations
  • Familiarity with local, state, and federal regulations regarding salvage yards
  • Proficient in basic math and computer skills
  • Valid Driver’s license is required

    • Supervisory Responsibilities

  • Manage multiple locations and all aspects of Parts Sales, including but not limited to, Sales Associates, vehicle inventory, and Auto Dismantlers.

    • Physical demands

  • Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. independently

    • Travel required

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • 2+ years operating heavy equipment, specifically front-end loaders
