Job Description

Job Title : Registered Nurse

Job Specialty : Medical-Surgical / Telemetry

Job Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : Mid 3x8-Hour (15 : 00 - 23 : 00)

Guaranteed Hours : 40 hours for shifts under 12 hours (8 or 10-hour shift)

Experience : Minimum 2 years preferred

License : State license required by start date, pending license accepted must be active by start date

Certifications : BLS, ACLS required

Must-Have :

  • EPIC charting experience
  • Telemetry experience
  • Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias experience
  • Travel experience

Job Description :

  • The position requires floating to all adult acute care units, including Medical-Surgical and Stepdown.
  • Will work with patient ratios of 1 : 4-6.
  • Must work 3 weekends per 4-week schedule.
  • Modules are completed pre-start and can vary by specialty.
  • High School Diploma required.
  • The orientation includes 12 non-billable hours.
  • COVID-19 vaccine is not required; flu vaccine status is unknown.
  • Compliance documents are due the Tuesday prior to start.
  • A block schedule accommodation is to be determined.
  • Facility highlights include being a Magnet, Teaching, Level 1 Trauma center.
