A company is looking for a Structural Design Engineer III specializing in PV Racking Systems.
Key Responsibilities
Lead structural foundation analysis and design for PV racking systems, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards
Create engineering plans and calculations for renewable energy projects while managing multiple concurrent projects
Mentor junior engineers and collaborate with cross-discipline teams to ensure design alignment and project success
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
5+ years of structural engineering experience, with at least 2+ years focused on PV racking system foundation design
Proficiency in structural engineering software such as RISA 3D / Foundation or similar
In-depth understanding of design codes and standards including ASCE 7, ACI 318, and IBC
Demonstrated ability to lead projects and mentor junior engineers
