Fpa Manager
We are a leading national specialty retailer seeking a highly analytical FP&A Manager to lead financial planning, reporting, and business performance analysis for our multi-store organization. This role focuses on managing the FP&A process rather than managing a team, collaborating with business partners across operations, merchandising, and supply chain to deliver insights that drive profitable decision-making and support strategic growth initiatives.
Key Responsibilities :
Financial Planning & Forecasting
- Lead and manage annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and long-range planning processes
- Develop advanced financial models for revenue, margin, labor, and operating expense projections
- Perform scenario planning to support corporate strategy, pricing decisions, and capital investments
Business Performance Analysis
Evaluate store performance and key drivers of profitability, including product mix, shrink, labor productivity, and operational costsConduct variance analysis and develop actionable insights to improve performance and cost efficiencyDeliver executive-ready financial reporting packages with clear trend analysis and commentaryCross-Functional Partnership
Partner closely with Operations to identify opportunities to optimize inventory levels, logistics spend, and productivitySupport Merchandising with promotional analysis, category performance, and margin enhancementAssist with capital expenditure proposals and post-investment ROI reviewsProcess Improvement & Systems
Improve financial reporting processes and automate manual workflowsEnhance data governance and accuracy across financial planning systemsSupport financial systems upgrades and business intelligence tool enhancementsQualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related5+ years of corporate FP&A or financial analysis experienceAdvanced Excel and financial modeling skills; experience with business intelligence tools a plusStrong presentation skills with ability to clearly communicate financial insights to business leadersDetail-oriented problem solver with strong prioritization and organizational skillsExperience supporting multi-location or store-based operations preferredBenefits :
