job_description.job_card.job_descriptionMaster's degree or Ph.D. in Chinese or a related field. Experience teaching various sections of CHN-101 (Beginner). Evidence of engagement in culturally responsive pedagogies. Experience with high-impact teaching and learning practices (examples : undergraduate research, community engagement, critical pedagogies, learning communities). Proven ability to work with a diverse faculty, staff, and student population. Community college teaching experience preferred. Ability to teach courses on campus in an in-person setting at BHCC's Charlestown or Chelsea campuses. Job Description :
- Teach in-person Elementary Mandarin courses in the Global Languages department under the Division of the Humanities and Learning Communities.
- Teaching various levels and sections of CHN-101 (Beginner).
- Courses are offered fully in-person on campus (Charlestown and Chelsea campuses).
