.NET Developer

Accentuate Staffing is working with a client that is hiring an experienced .NET Developer to join their technology team on a contract basis. In this hybrid position, you will work collaboratively with a cross-functional team, onsite at least three days a week. This role plays a key part in maintaining and enhancing critical applications that support statewide programs and public services. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience with C#, .NET, and SQL Server, along with strong problem-solving and communication skills. You’ll work with developers and analysts to enhance web-based systems, automate manual processes, and optimize existing software performance. A passion for clean, efficient code and an understanding of modern development practices will help you succeed in this role. Responsibilities : Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications using C# and .NET. Collaborate with business analysts and team members to translate requirements into functional solutions. Troubleshoot and resolve application issues, improving stability and system reliability. Implement new features, enhance user interfaces, and automate recurring reports or processes. Optimize application performance and ensure code quality through modern design patterns and best practices. Participate in Agile development processes and continuous improvement initiatives. Requirements : Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience. 5+ years of experience in C# / .NET web development. Proficiency with SQL Server and experience using Entity Framework for data access. Familiarity with Azure, JavaScript, Bootstrap, and other modern front-end tools preferred. Knowledge of unit testing, design patterns, and SOLID principles. Experience working in Agile / Scrum environments and using JIRA or similar tools for project tracking.
