Owens Orthodontics began in July 1968, when Knoxville orthodontist Dr. Richard M. Bowles opened Bowles Orthodontics. In 1970, he expanded his practice and became the first orthodontist to establish a permanent practice in the nearby town of Maryville, TN. Today, Dr. Mark Owens has an established practice in this beautiful city. His philosophy is that every patient is unique and every smile requires a personalized approach and custom treatment plan. Drs. Owens has completed advanced specialty training that allows him to strictly limit the practice to orthodontics. Patients can rest assured that this team has the experience and the focus to provide the best orthodontic care possible.
