[job_card.job_description]Master's in Nursing from an accredited university or college Florida licensure as a registered nurse and certification as an APRN Specialty education or training in psychiatry Certification by ANCC as a Clinical Specialist in Adult Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing Minimum of one year of experience as an ANCC board certified Psychiatric APRN Current CPR and CPI certifications
Job Title : Psychiatric Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN)
Hours : 8 : 00am-5 : 00pm, Monday through Friday - No on-call or weekends required
Setting : Inpatient
Job Description :
- Provide medical / psychiatric / nursing care for acute and chronic health problems
- Promote wellness through preventive and intervention methods
- Evaluate, manage, and initiate referrals in line with patient needs and clinical protocols
- Offer telephonic consultation and after-hours / weekend call duty when necessary
