Baptist Health is looking for an Accounts Receivable Team Lead to join their team. This is a remote work position for candidates residing in KY or IN.

Accounts Receivable Team Lead executes the timely process of electronic and manual payments, denials, and adjustments to ensure both hospital and physician Account Receivables are current. Manages assigned work queues to ensure timely and accurate distribution of monies to hospital and physician A / R. Researches and resolves payment discrepancies, PLB's (provider level adjustments), questions from Revenue Cycle colleagues and Finance Department.

Essential Duties :

• Assists manager with training, reports and special projects as needed.
• Assist with orientation and training of new employees and provides regular feedback and coaching.
• Handles phone calls, inquiries, emails, etc. in the manager's absence.
• Keeps manager informed in timely manner of any unusual concerns, situations, or conditions relative to staff, patients or reimbursement.
• Attends and participates in team meetings, departmental meetings and in-services.
• Seeks involvement in activities to promote departmental improvements.
• Handles employee auditing and counsel's employees on attendance and productivity goals.
• Updates and maintains department manuals.
• Establishes positive working relationships with others.
• Provides ideas to promote automation and improves workflow process.
• Stay calm in stressful or emergent situations; help those around you feel more at ease.

Qualifications :

5 days per week 8 : 00am-4 : 30pm
