[job_card.job_description]Assist the dentist during various procedures, including fillings, extractions, crowns (Experience making temporary crowns), and surgeries by handing instruments, operating suction devices, and managing patient comfort. Take and develop dental X-rays as directed by the dentist. Ensure compliance with safety protocols and state regulations. Provide patients with oral hygiene instructions, postoperative care guidelines, and answer any questions regarding their dental treatment and care. Instrument Sterilization : Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment using autoclaves and other sterilization techniques. Set up and break down treatment rooms before and after patient appointments, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are ready and sterile. Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including treatment plans, progress notes, and any observations made during patient care. Take dental impressions and pour, trim, and polish study casts Skills and Qualifications : Certifications : Must be a registered dental assistant Technical Skills : Proficient in dental assisting techniques, radiography, use of dental instruments, fabricating temporary crowns. Interpersonal Skills : Excellent communication and patient care skills, ability to work effectively in a team. Attention to Detail : Strong organizational and problem solving skills, ability to perform sensitive tasks carefully and with precision. Powered by JazzHR
