Principal Environmental Health and Safety Leader

A company is looking for a Head of Environmental, Health and Safety.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the development and oversight of a comprehensive safety program to ensure EHS performance

Coordinate EHS strategic planning and compliance with local laws and company policies

Conduct site visits and manage EHS reporting and training effectiveness during construction and operations phases

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety Management, Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Management, Engineering, Construction Management, or Business

15+ years of experience in energy construction (oil, gas, solar, wind, chemical plants)

10+ years managing or directing an HSE operation with a focus on strategic planning

Professional certifications such as CSP, ASP, CIH, PMP, CHST, SMS preferred or willing to obtain

In-depth knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, and safety management systems
